FFH Give Back
Philanthropy is an important part of the FFH. Each year we participate in a number of events and fundraisers to benefit our local community.
Second Harvest
Our annual holiday brunch is an opportunity to give back. This year our fundraising efforts will benefit Second Harvest, a local organization focused on strengthening and accelerating neighborhood organizations and initiatives in the Fox Chapel Area School District.
Killer Whales Swim Team
The FFH are affiliated with the Fox Chapel Killer Whales Swim Team, a 501(c)(3) youth swim team. FFH funds are used to enhance youth programming such as expanding the dryland program to include yoga and the annual banquet. Funds raised at our annual New Year Swimathon event contribute to these efforts.
Brian Demchak Hope Challenge
The Brian Demchak Hope Challenge honors the legacy of the brother of FFH supporter Bill Demchak. The FFH participate in this annual spring local 5k challenge by swimming 5K! Proceeds benefit the St. Margaret Foundation, a local hospital-based foundation serving families all over the Pittsburgh region.
